1. Match the words with their meanings

1 - d: restore (v) = to return something to an earlier good condition or position

2 - a: historical (adj) = connected with things from the past

3 - e: preserve (v) = to keep something in its original state or in good condition and prevent it from being damaged

4 - b: folk (adj) = traditional to a particular group or country, and usually passed down from generation to generation

5 - c: historic (adj) = important in history

2. Complete the sentences using the words in 1

What do you know about Trang An? Have you been there? If yes, what did you see or do there?

Trang An is a famous tourist destination in Ninh Binh province, known for its stunning natural landscape and rich cultural heritage. It became Vietnam's first mixed World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 2014.

The scenery was absolutely breathtaking with towering karst formations reflected in the calm water. We also visited some ancient temples and pagodas nestled among the mountains.
